Tour of The Art Institute of Chicago
Today, SAIC art history professor and critic Jim Yood is giving us a tour of The Art Institute of Chicago. We'll be getting insight into the logistics of museums, design, curation, and other intricacies of how and why a major museum operates. We'll also be getting some lecture on the history of art from the Renaissance forward.

RED at the Goodman Theatre
We are at the play RED at the Goodman Theatre tonight! Based on the artwork of Mark Rothko, the play centers around the artist and his assistant as they progress through commissioned works for the Four Seasons Restaraunt in New York during the 1950s and the height of his career with the New York School of abstract expressionists.
