Kicking off the program...

This is my journal for the next two years as I go through the New Arts Journalism program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I'll be posting my experiences with the Chicago art world on here, as well as writing about what I see, do, and hear while at SAIC. Since I'm a professional photographer, content will consist of photos and video with writing interspersed.

You can check out www.patrickputze.com for some of my work.  Don't be too overly critical of that site though, as it very badly needs a refresh.  I'll get to it soon...

For now, follow my exploits through grad school and see what kind of stuff I'm working on.  You might even see some of my stuff posted elsewhere or in print very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
